Oh my goodness! When you first did a close up on his fur, I nearly cried! How could anyone think that that is ok? If you don't want to maintain a dog's long hair, get a short hair dog! At least the dog appeared docile and happy.
That poor puppy, though kind of hard not to look past that and just be happy that the dog found its way to relief through the efforts of the neighbor and yourself.

I just found your channel yesterday. I’m not a groomer, I have three dogs and two cats. I am also an Air Force veteran as is my husband. I really enjoy watching your videos, I find it calming, and very interesting. I had two ragdoll cats who matted if you looked at them sideways. I always had to have them sedated to groom, and I could see the toll it took on them. One of them actually passed coming out of sedation. I am so pleased to see that you don’t do that. I wish I would’ve found someone like you when my cats were still here.
What’s the shampoo that you use for fleas? I moved and unfortunately my next door neighbor’s dog has fleas, resulting in my dog having unwanted friends and their eggs.

She’s doing pretty good considering the pain she’s in. You should tell her she’s being a good girl.
