TRUTH: PEOPLE CAUSE PROBLEMS DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, THEN THEY FIX AND THEN THEY MAKE FAITH IN HUMANITY RESTORE VIDEOS. Truth is that the animals wouldn't be in that predicament if you guys stop asking for pets. It's because of you that they sometimes end up in situations like that; running wild, abandoned, abused, neglected, suffering, etc. The animal shelter is filled with animals waiting to be euthanized because the human race needs companionship. They were bred to be your pets and so they must suffer. To be desired by humans mean you must suffer at our disposal. I'm not denying there are tons of very loving owners, but there are also many horrible ones. It's because of your desire for pets is why many end up this way. Faith in humanity restored, that's why we will pay the price for our ignorance once World War 3 comes around.
My sister has a cat named Lucy, she picked her up on the way back home from work. I still remember when my sister send me a picture of Lucy, and when she told me how she found her. She was passing by an alleyway, when she saw Lucy. Lucy was lying on the ground, her ears was cut off by someone. My sister immediately picked her up and went to the vet. And now Lucy is a happy cat with her other 12 cats that my sister adopted.
I have a fuck-ton of rescued animals. Okay, maybe not a fuck-ton, but definitely a shit-ton. 10 cats and 4 dogs. All rescued from the streets. There have been dozens of others for whom i have found homes or found their owner. I take all the right channels to find the owners, but I never, EVER even CONSIDER taking them to a shelter. That's just not something you do to a child. These are not "animals." They are children with the same fears that children have, but fewer words to express those fears. When I see an animal, I hear a child's voice. All animals are precious (except mosquitoes and roaches and shit. Fuck them) and never deserve to suffer the fear of being in a shelter. They know what happens in a shelter. They SO FUCKING KNOW. If you think that dogs don't have the capacity to understand that dogs die in shelters, then you lack empathy. Dog's know when they are in danger batter than you do.
May the Good God bless all those who have given a new home a family and love to these poor animals and thank you for saving them. You all are my Heroes….

I wish cell phone cameras were around when my parents allowed me to have a dog at 10-years-old; I'd love to have 'before and after' pictures. We paid something like $10 for her to get her out of a bad situation. She was abused, kept in a small chicken wire enclosure with no grass, just mud. Her 'shelter' looked like an outhouse, with large gaps in the wood. When I first saw her, she was sitting in the 'shelter's' doorway staring at me showing no emotion, not even a tail wag. When I took her home, she was scared and unsure, a very unhappy dog. Within a few months, thanks to me showing her respect, love and giving her belly rubs, she became the happy-go-lucky dog she was always meant to be. I could take her anywhere — without a leash. She never ever thought of running away. Oh sure, she might wander off smelling the world, but one clap of my hands and a shouted 'Trixie!' and she'd come bouncing back to me. I always said she never attempted to run away because I just knew she knew she was rescued and knew she had the good life. Why would she run away from that? Rescued dogs, with the right careful handling and time, are the most loyal of animals.
