  1. German shepard, a dog used by police for its smell, hearing and farelesness: legal in norway
Pitbulls, a kind, smart and loving dog: banned in norway
And they say norway is a free contry, i say otherwise

  2. Your training tips have been so helpful! My puppy just turned one, and she hasn’t chewed up anything at all, and she only peed in the house a few times. Your videos help make her the sweetest dog in the world! Thank you so much!!!

  3. Proud mom of one who is a snuggler..not a meanie. He is my hiking buddy and keeps me company since his dad works out of town. We also have 2 pitbull neighbors who are total sweethearts.

  4. See, to me. Thinking all pitbulls are bad, is like saying all white people are pedophiles. Cause I swear, each time I see a pedo, on the news, they're white. Like each time I see a dog attack, on the news. They're pitbull. Good thing I'm incredibly smart, like my pitbull and I understand. Media stereotypes should be ignored. Otherwise I'd think all black people like rap and carry guns and all white folk fuck kids and dance really fucken weird.

  5. Always comes down to the trainer behind the dog. My sister was walking her Yorkie down the ave & a pitbull jumped out of the car and attacked her. In the end we were left with a 2800$ vet bill & a dead dog. I still like putbulls.

  6. Im sixty and have always had dogs. I got my first pit about ten years ago. I was aware of the "danger" of the pit. My pit Sam was a big guy, 105 lbs. Looked like a killer. He was the gentlest friendly dog I've ever had. My 3 year old grandson would climb over him and Sammy would just look at him and wag his tail. The only time I ever saw a scary looking moment with him was a day the grandkids were playing catch with him in the front yard and a Jehovah's witness walked into the yard. My grandson had fallen down playing when the guys came in the yard. Sammy stood over my grandson and gave these guys the most intimidating bark I've ever heard. They backed out slowly and got on the other side of the fence. They called out and complained to me that my dog was viscous. BTW they came into the yard through a closed gate with a beware of dog sign. Sam did what any good dog would do. Guarded his pack members. The police and animal control people were actually called. Since a growl insnt illegal yet the police laughed it off. I got another pit, Rosy a few years later and she had the same disposition. In the seventies Dobermans were the killers. Then it was Rottweilers. All.bullshit. The same people who.jump.up.and down about racial stereotypes have no.problem applying it to dogs without real evidence.

  7. There is Pitbull mix stray dog at my working place and he claimed that territory as his own.
He is incredible dog, i love him so much and many colleagues noticed that there is strong bond between us.
But there is one problem, he is extremely territorial and aggressive toward visitors and basically everyone who is not part of the company. And as time goes by its getting worse. Whenever he sees persona non grata he goes into berserk mode, total blackout of the mind, becomes totally unrecognisable. From cuddle bug to monster in second.

  8. Love the breed (would not have any other dog personally) and is great dog with most owners…BUT its protective nature (as with any protective breed) is also its "Achilles' heel" which prevents it from being an all around complete dog, "when around others without proper training" (all the irrespnsible owners now get pissed).

Anybody who have owned Pitbulls should know this and should not mis lead an "irresponsible owner" to seek out such dogs. You can go to mostly any park or see video all daylong that show results of "proud happy go lucky clueless dog owners" who dog bites or attempt to bite someone or another dog. This should never happen and thats why dogs get bad wrap!
Failing to train this type of dog leads to a false since of awareness of how the dog will interact with others (Just because my dog loves me does not mean he want bite the shit out of someone else). Happens way too much.
Oh yeah there are also some smaller breeds who have "same characteristics" and need same training..the differances is in the damage that can be done by larger breeds.

  9. Exactly…people often get a dog based on the public 'reputation' of the breed. What drug dealer is going to pick a Chihuahua vs something like a APBT or Doberman? A lot of people pick their dogs like they pick their cars-they base their decision on how it LOOKS to them and others. Driving around town in a Jaguar projects an entirely different image than driving around in a Pinto.
